This "Active" pen is designed to work with and connect to the SignatureGem LCD 1x5 units (T-LBK462-BHSB-R/B-R/HSB-R). It plugs directly into the unit deriving power from the connection and so doing away with the need for batteries. It is supplied with a nylon nib (installed).

Now With GemGuard Antimicrobial Technology Gem Guard™ pens are proven to reduce bacteria on the pen surface by up to 99.99 percent in laboratory tests, providing round-the-clock protection against bacterial build-up from harmful species such as MRSA, E. Coli, and Legionella. The antimicrobial additive used in GemGuard pens is safe and also registered with the US EPA. GemGuard antimicrobial protection is built into the pen plastics, lasts for the life of the pen, and does not wear off with use. The Gem Guard technology is inorganic and non-leaching, and as a result does not allow bacteria to develop resistance. The Gem Guard silver ion additive binds to the cell wall of bacteria, preventing growth; interrupts enzyme production, stopping the cell energy production; and it interrupts the cell DNA, preventing bacteria replication.

E-tether pens are distinguished by the tether that connects it into the signature pad.
It connects at the rear right side, and is secured with an L-bracket. The amber pen
tip is non-removable. The e-tether pen draws power directly from the signature pad,
and therefore functions without batteries.

Battery pens have either a curly or steel tether and are attached to the rear right
side of the pad by a screw and washer. The pen tip is either amber or grey in color.
An amber pen tip denotes a non-removable tip. A grey pen tip denotes a removable
tip, allowing either a plastic or inked tip to be used for signing.

We supply free software and tools to enable the successful adoption of our signature pads into your business.

Our free e-signature software supplied with every unit includes plug-ins for common office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat), and free software development toolkits for developed-integration into your own applications.

 

 

In addition, we also offer many worked examples of technologies and applications, and developer and end-user "how-to" guides. Developers have found these invaluable in experiencing working solutions rather than theoretical code. We provide code samples, and snippets that can be used in your own applications.

 

We have some ready-to-use components to make life easier for application developers. These include an Active-X control to manage signature capture, and a "SigCompare" utility that allows you to compare signatures captured with our technology "live", seeing the manner and style of the created signature in addition to the flat image.
