Pens for Our Signature Pads

The current range of Topaz signature pads all have battery-free pens.

However, the legacy models T-C912, T-C916, T-S261, and T-S751 do have battery-operated pens. To replace pen batteries, rotate the rear pen cap one quarter turn counter-clockwise and remove. Remove the old batteries and replace with type #393. Replace the pen cap and lock into place with one quarter turn clockwise.

Further legacy models include the KioskGem Pens which also have batteries (pens supplied with T-LBK462-KAHSB, T-LBK462-KAB, T-S261-KHSB and T-S261-KS-R).

DO NOT OPEN THE PEN. The pen tip is removed from the tip of the pen and replaced all from the open end of the pen. Simply grasp the tip of the cartridge and pull it out from the end of the pen. If the pen is forced open, it will be virtually impossible to re-assemble without special factory tools.

Please note that not all pen models have a removable pen tip and these are all now legacy items.

The P-T110-L1 pens are battery powered and have a curly tether.

They are a legacy item, suitable for use with the ID-Gem units and also legecy units from the T-L462 range.

Please note, any current unit from the T-LBK462 range uses the e-tether pen P-ET110-HSN.
