HSX Remote Connectivity
Topaz HSX™ signature pads offer simpler set-up in USB redirection client/server applications. In addition to simplicity, the advanced design provides for greater speed of operation, without delay or lag in more environments than competing pads. These pad models are specifically designed for use in Remote Desktop, Citrix, and VDI environments.
SigLite Signature Capture Mechanism
The SigLite range works through a touch-sensitive surface, and the pen used with the products is a passive stylus. This product range that is designed for light-to-medium usage (typically less than 30 signatures per day).
USB Connection
The "-HSB" model is a USB-connected device which uses the Human Interface Device (HID) class of USB driver built into Microsoft Windows and other leading operating systems and computers
2-Year Warranty
This model has a two-year Manufacturer's Warranty. However, even after this warranty period has passed (or if the repair is outside the terms of the warranty) we can offer a lifetime service to repair or refurbish the unit (if possible) for a modest charge.
RoHS Compliance
The "-R" suffix, common to all our products denotes a product that is RoHS compliant. RoHS, also known as Lead-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable products in the EU market after July 1, 2006 must pass RoHS compliance. RoHS impacts the entire electronics industry and many electrical products as well.
We supply free software and tools to enable the successful adoption of our signature pads into your business.
Our free e-signature software supplied with every unit includes plug-ins for common office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat), and free software development toolkits for developed-integration into your own applications.
In addition, we also offer many worked examples of technologies and applications, and developer and end-user "how-to" guides. Developers have found these invaluable in experiencing working solutions rather than theoretical code. We provide code samples, and snippets that can be used in your own applications.
We have some ready-to-use components to make life easier for application developers. These include an Active-X control to manage signature capture, and a "SigCompare" utility that allows you to compare signatures captured with our technology "live", seeing the manner and style of the created signature in addition to the flat image.
We have a free technical support service at both end-user and development levels, and will be happy to assist any user or developer with successfully developing with, implementing and using our technologies.
